1–3: Clear, Close, Protect

1. Clear the work zones: move patio furniture, grills, toys, potted plants and doormats away from the house and off driveways being cleaned. 2. Close everything: all windows and doors shut tight (we check, but closed is safer), plus attic vents and crawlspace accesses if accessible. 3. Protect the delicate: flag any cracked window panes, loose siding, known leak spots or brand-new plantings so the crew gives them extra care.

4–6: Water, Power, Pets

4. Water access: make sure an outdoor spigot is accessible and working — we bring our own hoses and equipment, but we need your water. 5. Power: note outdoor outlet locations in case we need them, and unplug sensitive electronics near wash zones. 6. Pets: keep dogs and cats inside during the wash — the equipment is loud and the solutions aren't pet-friendly until rinsed.

7–8: Communicate and Plan

7. Tell us about problem areas: that rust stain, the wasp nest under the eave, the gate that sticks — a two-minute walkthrough at arrival saves callbacks. 8. Plan to be reachable: you don't need to stay home, but be available by phone in case we have a question about access or scope.

That's it. No need to pre-scrub, pre-rinse or buy anything — preparation is our job. These steps just clear the way.

What NOT to Worry About

Don't pre-clean anything (you'd be paying twice). Don't worry about your plants — we pre-wet and rinse all landscaping as standard practice. Don't stress about water usage — professional equipment is far more water-efficient than a garden hose. Just clear the decks, and we'll handle the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

No — as long as we have water access and can reach all areas, most jobs are completed with nobody home. We'll text before/after photos.

During the wash and about 30 minutes after the final rinse. Once surfaces are rinsed and dry to the touch, they're safe.

Light items, yes — we'll shift patio furniture and grills as needed. Very heavy items (hot tubs, built-in kitchens) should be worked around; just point them out.
